This 5-week course led by certified Conscious Discipline instructor, Diana Brown, will lead parents through the 10 Principles of Positive Discipline so you can respond appropriately, rather than react negatively to discipline challenges in the home. Focusing on self control and confidence building for both parent and child, Diana teachers a series of linked steps to help families move from turmoil to tranquility. Cost: $75 per person, which includes the book, Easy To Love, Difficulty To Discipline. During the months of September and October the Pre-K classrooms create individual clay bowls, selling the bowls and donating 100% of the sales to UMOM of Phoenix.

Each child creates one bowl.  It is a 7 step process which requires the one-on-one assistance of an adult.  It can take as long as 30 minutes to make a bowl.  We discuss with the children the importance of the child doing the work and taking ownership of the bowl construction.  They are so proud when they have completed their work!  This year, the classrooms and families will celebrate their bowl creations on Wednesday, November 13th with a picnic of noodles.
