PPP's Parent Community Outreach Commitee will be collecting new and gently-used books for Raising a Reader and Reach out and Read from April 15 - 19. Both of these programs aim to educate low income families about the multifaceted value of reading to their child at a young age, and put ageappropriate books directly into their hands to make reading a reality. It's our goal to deliver 1,000 or more new and gently-used books to these programs. Won't you join us in sharing the beautiful gift of reading with other children and families in our community?
