Theology 201 – Theological Perspectives

Week 5 – The Gospel of Liberation: Throughout the history of the church the struggle of the oppressed has shed new light on the meaning of the gospel. When Paul says, “For freedom Christ has set you free!”, his words can be addressed to any form of slavery we might experience, whether spiritually, emotionally, economically or culturally. Join us to find out how the marginalized have helped us to know more about how Jesus sets us free.
