Each summer our campus is transformed into a camp-like environment for an entire week for the largest outreach of the year, Vacation Bible School.  We turn the Fellowship Hall into a thematic scene to take students from the typical days in Scottsdale to a space for them to learn more about God and his love.  We choose an outline from various Christian-based companies that work diligently to provide stories, games, crafts & more for the age appropriate camp.  This summer, June 6-10, we cannot wait to unfold the week’s theme “Monumental, Celebrating God’s Greatness”.  

It’s pretty monumental what is taking place in May.  Families sign up to send their children to Pinnacle, many only hearing about our camp from friends.  Some of our participants were with us for VBS last year, and we haven’t seen them since.  And a few of our campers will be the 30-50 students we see regularly on a weekly basis.  Junior High and High School students are the true monumental gifts.  They serve as student leaders, and they look forward to this week all year long!  The leadership tasks and responsibility they learn this week is irreplaceable!

I ask a monumental favor from you!  Keep us in your prayers!  We know the Holy Spirit will be at work.  We know families will trust our care.  We know we are ready for a fun week ahead.  We pray for what we don’t know.  The surprises, the tears, the bumps and bruises.  They happen each year, and with your partnership, the prayers and the support, we know we can make a MONUMENTAL difference to each of these young, sweet, eager hearts.
