Habitat is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization that builds simple, decent, affordable housing for those in need. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 500,000 houses in more than 80 countries, serving 2.5 million people worldwide, including some 30,000 houses across the United States. Pinnacle Presbyterian has actively participated since 1996 by sending crews of church members and friends several times each year to help build these homes and by contributing financial assistance. No prior construction experience or tools are required to participate.
