Pilgrimages

At Pinnacle we believe that experiential learning through pilgrimage is a way to deepen one's faith, connect with fellow Christians, and expand our minds through all the senses.  We plan and organize approximately two large and one small pilgrimage each year and all are welcome to join us wherever we go.  Below you will find more information about our 2026 & 2027 planned trips.

Civil Rights Pilgrimage

April 21 - 27, 2026
$4,499 per person (including round trip airfare and hotel)

Early bird discount of $150 per person until Sept. 1, 2025
$500 deposit due at time of booking

This seven-day Civil Rights Pilgrimage is a journey from sin to repentance and finally to reconciliation. Join Pinnacle Presbyterian Church as we explore slavery, racism, and the legacy of Jim Crow laws on this pilgrimage through Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, and Selma. Learn about civil disobedience, the role of faith, and the people who made the Civil Rights Movement possible. Most importantly, we will think together about how to bring the values of equality and justice home with us.

Choral & Historical Pilgrimage in Scotland

2027

We are thrilled to return to our Presbyterian roots in Scotland. This Scottish heritage pilgrimage will include time in the “thin-space” of the Iona Community, where it is believed that we’re just a wee bit closer to heaven. Additionally, we will be forming a pilgrims’ choir, directed by our own Dr. Ilona Kubiaczyk-Adler, which will rehearse before and during the trip and perform in Scotland. From Scottsdale to Scotland, this pilgrimage will provide a spiritual journey through music, culture, and history.
