One Percent

For 2010, we are asking members to consider increasing their pledge by ONE percent of their total household income.

In appreciation of God’s care in our lives we need to think about giving back to God a percentage of our household income.

What percentage of your household income do you give back to God’s work out of gratitude for God’s blessings in life?

If you currently give 3% of your annual household income and you make an increase to your pledge of 1%, your giving may look like this:

If you did not pledge last year, consider looking at your total household income and giving a percentage of your income to God’s work through the ministry of the church. That may mean beginning with a smaller percentage (even 1%) and increasing that percentage as you renew your pledge each year, working towards a tithe of 10%.

Give because God has been generous to you! Give because we are ONE body, encouraging ONE another, in ONE ministry together!

Commitment Sunday Is Nov. 8

From 8:30–10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, there will be a Church Breakfast on the Green. Come together as ONE community of faith to celebrate and make a commitment to our church community.

We ask that you and your family attend this celebration breakfast and bring your pledge commitment and time and talents card.
